What happens if a toddler drinks milk that has been left out overnight?

My toddler found a sippy cup left over from yesterday that had some chocolate milk in it. I looked for it yesterday and didn't find it, but of course, he found it first thing this morning and drank some of it (I don't know how much) before I realized and took it away from him. I know it was bad because it has been sitting out for many hours. Now I don't know what to do. It's Sat so I can't call his dr. Any help?

I doubt that it will do anything to him but MAYBE give him a stomach ache. It's not going to poison him, though, if that's what you're asking.

Just keep an eye on him, and see if he develops a loss of appetite or diarrhea. He will probably be fine, though.

I would assume that he would have a stomach ache but I do not think that it is that serious. Your baby is going to be find. Thank God, he didn't drink something toxic... Good Luck!!!

he might be poisoine because its a spoiled food and its not good for any person specially for a child i think you have to let him drink lots and lots of water or if you can.... let him vomit....ask a doctor just in case it didnt work..

Well maybe nothing will happen because it wasn't really bad yet. MAybe he will just throw it up and get a stomach ache. But make him eat a couple of slices of bread and that will help his stomach soak up the milk.

If it was that bad he will just throw up. My daughter has done this too and didn't even get sick. Iron tummy I guess, lol. He will be fine just keep an eye on him. If he starts acting funny call the dr. or take him to the er.
