My question is to parents: What prices would you think are reasonable for a toddler or twin wooden bed that is custom-made how you like it? Is there a threshold which you would not exceed for a toddler bed shaped like an airplane or car, or a twin?
Thanks. Some input from people going through the economic downturn will really help.
Our daughter has the Pottery Barn Larkin Sleigh crib with a conversion kit. Retails for $1000, we had a friend's discount but still shelled out around $700. At the time of the purchase we were upper middle to high, with the tough economy we are now middle class. So how things are now from a budget conscious consumer's point I would not pay more than $350 for a crib but it has to have a toddler bed conversion kit. I wish you the best of luck keeping a business afloat.
